New Chief Operating Officer
D2000 recently announced the hiring of Mary Johnson as Chief Operating Officer. Mary brings extensive financial expertise to the position having spent twenty years in the banking industry as a branch manager and commercial loan officer.
"I'm really looking forward to this challenge," Mary said. "I've spent so much time helping the bank's customers run their businesses, that it's great to get a chance to 'get into the game', so to speak, and be responsible for the operation of this one."
By taking over the administration and day-to-day operations, Jim Johnson, D2000's CEO, will be able to spend more time developing programs and marketing. "I think Mary's involvement will be a great asset to this company," Jim said. "With our current structure we've grown about as much as we can, but now there are a number of new opportunities we can explore."
The fact that the CEO and COO share the same last name is not coincidence. They were married in January, 2004.
