Confined Space Rescue Training
This course teaches students how to conduct rescues in their location's permit-required confined spaces. This includes developing and updating pre-plans, conducting practice rescues, inspecting and maintaining equipment, and coordinating with other emergency responders. Over half the class consists of field exercises and enactment training.
NOTE: If you need both training and equipment, D2000 offers a very cost-effective package. This includes three days of training and all the equipment needed by a typical four to six person team to perform basic rescues. Cost is $9,950 plus instructor travel. Scroll to the bottom of this page for a brochure describing this approach in more detail.
Prerequisites: Before attending this class, students need to have completed confined space entrant and attendant training. In addition, members of the team need to have previous training or a background First Aid and CPR. In some environments, team members may also require training in respiratory protection and hazardous materials.
